Alice is a highly skilled and versatile Freelance Print Designer with over 17 years of experience creating surface pattern for clothing and textiles. With a strong commercial eye and an instinct for trend-driven design, she creates original, production-ready prints for global brands.
Having studied Fashion Textiles at the University of Brighton, Alice began her career working with print studio - Tom Cody Design in the UK and then the US before returning to the UK and transitioning to freelance work in 2012. She has since worked with other renowned studios such as Westcott, Voo Print and most recently Print Stories. Alice has also collaborated directly with brands, often bringing creative direction and a technical knowledge.
Alice’s design approach blends artistic intuition with commercial awareness. She researches and develops seasonal colour palettes and pattern trends. Her portfolio showcases a diverse range of prints including—florals, geometrics, abstracts, and animal skin designs—sold to leading retailers including Hobbs, Reiss, Calvin Klein, and DKNY.
From concept to execution, Alice delivers seamless digital repeats with fully colour-separated, layered files, ensuring every design is ready for production. She also offers re-colouring, re-working, and print development services, working closely with design teams to refine and adapt artwork as needed.
Alice owns a big back catalog of prints read to go, that can either be customised to suit or used as a starting point.
Alice is available for freelance projects on a per-print, per-day, or ongoing basis, working remotely or hybrid if required to travel to London for meetings.
